My name is Laura McGregor and I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist at Nourish Victory. Sometimes it can be challenging to get inspired. You want to create something beautiful and meaningful, but you just can’t seem to get started. Inspired action comes from an internal nudge of sorts where you feel inspired to do something. Motivation is the magic dust that gets you into that flow state. That special mental state where you're laser-focused and super productive. You get more done than you thought possible and time flies. It's a great feeling. But it isn't easy to get into a flow state on demand. When you're highly motivated to get something done, it’s much easier to get into the flow. But there's a trick to it. You have to feel motivated and inspired. That is what this session is all about.

If your intention is to fall into a deep and sound sleep please be sure your alarm clock is set. Go ahead and place yourself in a comfortable position. Adjust your body so that you’re lying, with your legs and feet uncrossed and slightly apart, hands resting loosely in your lap.


And If I have your permission to guide you into a calm and relaxing state then just begin by taking some deep, comfortable breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.


And of course, as always you have the power to Accept or Reject suggestions as you hear them. You can practice this in everyday life when you hear something on television or during regular everyday conversations. And of course, you have the power to accept or reject any suggestions that you hear tonight. Please use these two powerful gifts as often as possible. Doubling down on things that resonate with your values and integrity by internally thinking “I accept that suggestion” and quickly rejecting anything that doesn’t “I reject that suggestion”.


And as you begin to relax I’ll bring your awareness to any sounds, just everyday sounds around your house, people or dogs in the background, perhaps cars passing by in the neighbourhood and these sounds do not bother or disturb you, as a matter of fact, they help you relax even more comfortably. And of course, at any time should you need to awaken, you can do so quickly and effortlessly.


And Those moments before you actually drift off to sleep - as your mind wanders and images can flow in and out of your mind - your mind is preparing for rest - to enter the dream world where anything and everything that you desire is possible.


As you prepare to dream your subconscious mind is busy sorting out any problems you've had throughout the day. So I’d like you to imagine bundling up any worries - any cares - and uploading them all to a safe space in the universe. Use your powerful imagination to notice a beautiful box that is a sacred healing space for your concerns. Notice what colour your box is? Perhaps it’s a treasure chest or a safe, or perhaps an elegantly wrapped shoebox. Regardless go ahead and rest your concerns in your special box. Watch as these worries and cares get locked safely away.


And now it’s time to find a home for these concerns in the universe. You can imagine a giant inbox in the sky where you can magically make your box appear and fit perfectly. Or perhaps you’d like to become perfectly weightless and carry your box to the closest star, zooming up, up, up, up all the way up effortlessly carrying your box and dropping it off, then finding yourself instantly safely back tucked up in bed.


And you can now trust that if you ever need to access these again you will have even more clarity and feel even more supported to deal with them.


And now I would like you to just let those eyes close as you begin to relax very deeply


anticipating that wonderful relaxing rest


and perhaps those eyes can begin to feel very heavy the muscles around those

eyelids really relaxing and the more you try to open them


the heavier they can become


relaxing deeper and deeper


with each calming breath


allowing my words to drift over and around you and you can choose to listen to my words


or to allow them to just drift away

floating on the air


relaxing more deeply


with each passing moment


Feeling a wonderful calming warmth flood through you across that face

every muscle relaxing down over those shoulders each cell slowing down and resting


across those arms


bringing rest and relaxation across those hands and right out to the tips of those fingers


that lovely tingling sensation that comes with such deep rest noticing that warmth and relaxation flowing over that chest spreading down across that stomach

relaxing every muscle


those thighs resting deeply


flowing down those legs


wonderful recuperative rest


right down to those feet and the tips of those toes and perhaps you can notice

as that warmth can really surround those feet


like a cosy pair of heated socks


getting a real sense of that


bringing calm and rest


naturally soothing you into deep relaxation


noticing how easily you can relax this deeply

and rest


Just as a river flows naturally to the sea


so you can flow naturally into sleep


noticing as the water flows


perhaps quickly at first


caressing the rocks and stones resting peacefully on the river bed slowing as the

bed softly levels out


then meandering gently through the hills and valleys peacefully winding in the shadows of the hills


and perhaps you can notice


the wonderful calming sound of the water flowing and the shapes and colours that form


as the warming sun glints off the surface


reflecting that relaxation back at you


noticing the flowers on the riverbank


resting gently in the warmth of the sun


smelling their calming scents as they float across the water relaxing deeper as the water flows


and sometimes a river can come to rest for a while in a small lake

taking a wonderful calming rest on its journey


still and calm


deeper water


and each drop can sink deeper into relaxation


resting and then calmly moving on again


to that ultimate restful destination


perhaps tumbling gently over a waterfall


relaxing deeper and deeper

as each droplet falls


flowing naturally and easily


feeling yourself


flowing onwards into deeper rest and relaxation


naturally feeling that journey into sleep


the water flowing onwards


brushing past those reeds


resting by the river bank


slowing down as the river relaxes deeper perhaps feeling a little drowsy from the long journey and opening out


growing


as the banks widen


the soft bed of the river


flowing out into an ocean of calm


allowing that calm to flow over and around you resting


relaxing deeper


getting a wonderful deep sense of that relaxation and rest


And perhaps you can imagine yourself


lying on a beach


beside that tranquil ocean


just resting


perhaps in the shade of a palm tree


with just your feet in the sun


those wonderful rays of sunshine warming those feet relaxing and resting them

getting a real sense of that


now


that’s it


just listening to a storyteller in your mind weaving words into a story of deep rest and relaxation lulling you gently to sleep


Today we will be practising what it feels like to create a holographic reality, a reality where you feel inspired every moment of every day.


In order to feel inspired, you must alter your perception, you must think differently.

You need to get out of the linear thinking mode and change the fundamental geometry of your perception.


The way in which we perceive follows our unique inner blueprint or pattern, and this inner blueprint follows a very specific geometry.


This inner guidance system determines the way your consciousness flows and this, in turn, influences the way in which you see reality.


When you give your mind some space to expand you can start thinking differently and getting inspired.


When you see reality as linear, and you see time and space organized by lines it’s hard to think differently. It's hard to feel creative.


Today all of that is going to change.


Now as you relax, think about your path in life.


Think about what it is that inspires you. What makes you want to hop out of bed and get going?


What makes you feel creative?


Think about the reality you live in.


As you think about this, you realize that there might be things you have a desire to change.


Feel what it feels like to step outside of your boundaries, and create a new life ......

just like that. A life of inspiration, motivation, and creativity.


You have this ability already within you. You were born creative. It's time to get back to that. It’s time to feel inspired and to colour outside the lines. It’s time to think differently. When you do what you always do, you get what you have always gotten.


It’s OK to alter your course.


What kind of life makes you feel inspired? What if you could wake up and do anything? Sometimes we lack inspiration because we forget what it’s like to laugh and play. We take life too seriously.


We forget that life is supposed to be fun and inspiring.


So what kind of life makes you feel inspired?


What is it you want to create?


What do you need to let go of to start creating this thing right now?


So imagine you could build a sphere of creation right here in your mind.

This is like an alternate reality.


I would like you to begin by imagining yourself at the centre of your holographic sphere. You can create this sphere any way you like. You can paint this sphere into existence - you can draw it with your finger or just will it into being.


Notice how much fun this can be, creating things in your mind.


Allow everything you know in your current world to come into the sphere. Notice the house you live in, the people you know, and the places you go to. See yourself interacting with other people in this world – your private reality. Notice the movement, the energy, the flow. Feel the ground, sense what is around you.

Notice what you hear, the energy and movement of life.


Close your eyes in this reality and take everything in with your remaining senses.


You might hear the rain, the sounds of a train rumbling, you might hear the earth crackling and moving. You may even feel and hear the wind touching each and every part of your new reality.


Take all of this in - and just breathe.


Now take everything in your world and turn it upside down.


Make it unique. Play with the colours.


Turn the grass purple; turn the roads into candy-coated roads.


See yourself creating something fun, like a make-believe world. Feel the inspiration flowing.


Notice how much fun this is, how easy it is, changing your perception of what you believe is your reality. Play with this for a moment. Change the colours, change the textures, change anything you want.


Pause.


Keep focusing on what it is you really want to create. How can you inspire yourself? What is your dream? Focus on an intention.


Pull this intention in closer and closer. See yourself filled with creativity and inspiration.


This is just as real as anything else. Keep changing and re-creating your universe. Change the scenery.


See yourself working in a workshop of some sort, creating something unique. This might be a project, a work of art or even something like a book.


See yourself waking up ready to face the day. Excited about new opportunities. You are laser-focused in support of your goal.


Notice how good you feel. How proud you feel. This is your new reality, and it can be anything you want, anything you desire. This is your new alternate reality – and it is as real as you want it or need it to be.


You feel inspired every day. You feed this inspiration by doing things that help you tap into your natural creativity.


You create an inspiring workspace that feeds your soul.


You surround yourself with things you love. You focus on simple things you can do to feel inspired, like rearranging your office or even getting rid of clutter and things that you no longer need.


You focus all of your energy on creating something new. You let the old energy go. Life is an adventure. You are ready to take risks.


You live in the flow. If you can dream it, you can create it. You stop underestimating yourself. You know you can do this.


How does this feel to be so free and so alive; to have so many choices and a clean slate? You have created a brand new reality today, a reality where you wake up feeling inspired.


Now think of an important goal you have for the day or for the week, anything at all.


See it and feel it and be there now in every sense of the word. Imagine how amazing you feel about achieving this important goal. Imagine all of the hard work is over and you have made it to the top. See yourself enjoying the fruits of your labour.


See yourself celebrating your incredible success. Remove any and all boundaries.


Pause.


Take all the time you need to be here in this amazing moment. See everything as it happens, feel everything as it happens and hear everything as it happens. Feel your sense of pride and feel yourself beaming from ear to ear. Just dwell on this amazing moment of success.


Feel your body tingling with joy; this is such an exciting moment. You have waited a long time to finally achieve this goal and here you are.


Visualise this goal so clearly that you are willing it into existence. You are setting a powerful force in motion, all with the amazing power of your mind.


Now notice how you feel right now. You have an incredible sense of power within you and you are capable of amazing things.


You feel confident and secure and capable of anything. You are in control of this exact moment. Your thoughts have made this happen and it was easier than you thought. Trust that everything in your life is coming together just as you envisioned.


You have entered an extra-dimensional realm in which your thoughts and desires shape your reality.


And when you wake up tomorrow, you will immediately notice that you are already feeling much more motivated and inspired. This is who you are now.


You have taken this enormous first step toward helping yourself.


You are motivated and inspired in all your goals.


You are doing what you love, and you are richly rewarded. You know this change has an impact on your life, and it will continue to work for you and lead you to bigger and better things and new opportunities for you to share your gifts with the world.


You feel your motivation and enthusiasm and confidence are expanding more and more each and every day.


You are free to be exactly who you want to be. This freedom is incredible. You do what you love. You feel inspired every day.


Take a moment now to breathe in happiness and joy from the effects of this change. You feel strong. You feel motivated. You are on fire for life, and it shows.

Feel this freedom.


Imagine it all now. What is it you do with your time? How do you share your gifts with the world? See it and feel it and be there now. Time is just an illusion; the truth is you create your own reality right here and right now.


The more you can be here in this moment in your mind; the quicker and faster this new reality will become your current reality.


Now once again take a moment to tune into this inspired life. See your creativity flowing.


Feel the tingling energy all around you.


Everything is happening at the perfect time in the perfect way.


Notice how motivated and inspired you feel every day.


You can't wait to get the day started. You can't remember when you have felt this awesome. You are bursting with energy and enthusiasm almost as if you have taken a happy pill - and maybe you have!


You feel this enthusiasm bubbling up from deep inside you.


Notice how good you feel as you go through your day. Everything is going well, your energy is flowing. Everyone you come in contact with is happy to see you.


Everything is falling into place. Your energy and enthusiasm are contagious.


Your efforts have paid off in a BIG way. You inspire others with your attitude.


You look forward to each and every day with a new sense of optimism now. This new attitude has transformed your life in incredible ways.


You feel as if you have finally found utopia, your own private utopia all within this incredible new-motivated attitude.


You have everything you need to live an incredible life. You have that magical touch. Everything you touch turns to gold.


You easily accomplish your goals. You fulfil your dreams. You can have anything you want. This action-oriented behaviour has given you back your life in every sense of the word. You love your life. You feel inspired to get up early every day - you have a new sense of determination.


Now as you continue going through your day - envision the end result of this new action-oriented and highly motivated lifestyle. This might be an important goal you have accomplished or even something small like finally starting that new project.

Keep focusing on your goal now - and immerse yourself in these good feelings of accomplishment.


There is no mystery to achieving happiness and feeling inspired, it is available and accessible to everyone and you know that now. You feel an incredible sense of bliss knowing that you have accomplished those important goals in your life.


You are motivated and inspired in all of your goals at work and at play.


Every area of your life has improved as a result of this change.


You are the magic. You are the source of your incredible motivation. You are the key to living this inspired life.


Every time you listen to this session, these suggestions become a part of your actions, your behaviour, and your personality.


They become a part of who you are.


You are powerful. You are strong.


You are the energy of inspiration.


Getting motivated comes easily for you and it's a great feeling.

Congratulations.


Trust that everything in your life is coming together as you get ready to face your day.


And these suggestions are firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and grow stronger and stronger day by day - stronger by the day - stronger by the hour - stronger by the minute.


If you are listening to this recording at your regular bedtime then you can ignore the following wake up suggestions and continue to drift and dream - knowing that you will awaken, fully refreshed - at your usual wake up time.


However, if you are listening to my voice at any other time then you will accept the suggestions to come out of this trance - and feel all the benefits of this wonderful, deep relaxation session.


In a moment I'm going to count the numbers from one to five and at the count of five you will be wide awake - feeling already wonderfully invigorated - and ready to allow these suggestions - to work for you.

I will ask you to open your eyes have a good stretch and say out loud the words wide awake.

1. Slowly calmly easily you’re returning to your full awareness once again.

2. Each nerve muscle and ligament has benefited from this wonderful time spent inwards.

3. From head to toe feeling perfect in every way, physically perfect mentally perfect emotionally calm and serene.

4. You will find that from this moment on you will have more and confidence in your everyday life. When you leave this building colours may be brighter sounds clearer and that is simply because you took this time to reconnect to yourself.

5. Opening your eyes and saying out loud the words WIDE AWAKE
